Our purpose

Our mission is to help people with concussions connect with others so that we feel less alone and can learn from each others’ experiences. This is a space to share your questions and suggestions; a place to find a supportive community. Surviving and thriving, together!

Our Videos

We work hard to create videos based on Larissa’s recovery experience. Each video highlights small changes that are easy to implement, which have had a major impact on her healing.

We are also excited to include tips and advice that we receive from other members of our brain injury community via comments on our videos and email submissions.

We love health care providers

Our videos and supporting content were produced by a brain injury survivor, not a medical professional and, as such, are not intended to provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Content provided is for informational purposes only.

Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, diagnosis or treatment.

 About Larissa

After a car accident left me with a debilitating brain injury, I had to find new ways of coping with the pain and the changes I had to make to my day to day living.

After three years of learning and healing, I went from just trying to survive my brain injury to thriving, by taking control of my life and my healing, so that I have more energy and less headaches.

Before my brain injury, I focused much of my time on productivity and career growth. This concussion has given me the opportunity to evaluate my life and make more thoughtful choices about where I spend my time and energy.

Today, I am living the life I want, in control and happy. Now, I’m sharing, through free videos on YouTube, the things I’ve learned over the years that have made healing and daily living easier.
